Former CIA Director John Brennan believes that Hamas will not survive the war against Israel after its unprovoked terrorist attacks.
Brennan shared the remarks during an interview on MSNBC's "Deadline" on Tuesday.

“I’ve been involved in counterterrorism for the better part of 40 years, and I must say, this is the most horrific series of attacks that I’ve ever had to witness or to talk about," Brennan said.
"Unspeakable, unadulterated evil, as President Biden said. What they did to babies, murdered them, elderly, women, children, I can’t get over it. It’s sickening, absolutely sickening. This was purposed by Hamas," he added.

Brennan also explained that the terror attacks had been brewing for many years.
“I think there were a lot of failures that led up to this. Clearly, the Israelis didn't have either the human or technical sources that gave them insight into this,” Brennan said.
“I think there was just a lot of misreading and a lot of missteps and miscalculations that went into this.” He adds, “I think it just increased the militancy of Hamas in engaging in these horrific, unconscionable acts of violence against the Israelis. But unfortunately I think it's been brewing for many, many years," he continued.
Over 700 Israelis and 560 Palestinians were confirmed killed by Tuesday. Thousands more have been injured since Saturday's attacks.
In addition, over 100 hostages have been confirmed in the hands of Gaza's terror group Hamas, including some Americans.
The response by Israel has been significant so far, with more to come as the nation retaliates after the worst attacks in the nation in decades.
