Iranian hackers accused of targeting Trump campaign

Former President Donald Trump has likely declared a VICTORY in light of the latest news.

Democrats, on the other hand, are probably FUMING!

A group of Iranian hackers have been indicted on multiple hacking allegations, actions that included the impersonation of prominent Republican political figure, Ginni Thomas.

Ginni Thomas is the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, and she is ALSO a notable conservative activist.

The three Iranians have also been accused of operating a GOVERNMENT-LINKED hacking operation that went on for literal YEARS.

Those indicted go by the names of Masoud Jalili, Seyyed Ali Aghamiri, and Yasar Balaghi.

They are facing aggravated identity theft and wire fraud charges.

The main goal of the alleged hackers was to target individuals who had a strong association with Donald Trump in an attempt to take down Trump.

The hackers are even thought to be involved in a recently publicized Trump campaign breach, stealing “debate preparation” materials.

Attorney General Merrick Garland has released a statement on the matter.

“The defendants’ own words make clear that they were attempting to undermine former President Trump’s campaign in advance of the 2024 US presidential election. These authoritarian regimes, which violate the human rights of their own citizens do not get a say in our country’s democratic process,” Garland said.

Iran has, OF COURSE, denied the allegations brought against three of its nationals.

It is absolutely insane that the people of this country have made Trump out to be “crazy” any time he discussed the possibility of election interference.

If these hackers are convicted, we will have PROOF that outside interference trying to stop Trump from becoming president DOES exist!

How many more assassination attempts or hacking events does Trump have to endure before people stop calling him crazy?

For now, all we can do is wait to see how the allegations pan out.
