Ilhan Omar’s Daughter Arrested at Anti-Israel Protest

It would seem that the betrayal of our country and allies runs in the blood of Squad members.

Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-MN) daughter was arrested recently for partaking in a protest.

Isra Hirsi was among those police arrested during the anti-Israel protest that was taking place at Columbia University.

Hirsi has not fallen far from the tree, as they say.

Prior to being arrested at Columbia University, Hirsi had been suspended from Barnard College, which is just a stone’s throw from Columbia, for “standing in solidarity with Palestinians facing a genocide.”

She had posted on X, "Those of us in Gaza Solidarity Encampment will not be intimidated.

"We will stand resolute until our demands are met. our [sic] demands include divestment from companies complicit in genocide, transparency of @Columbia’s investments and FULL amnesty for all students facing repression."

She then acted on her post by heading over to Columbia on Thursday for the protest, where she was taken into custody by the NYPD, issued a summons for trespassing, and later set free.

Her mother, Rep. Omar, was among those who had questioned Columbia administrators about the activism on its campus and that of other Ivy League schools that were anti-Israel.

Omar had categorized an “attack” against protesters, saying that “toxic chemical substance” was used against them, but it was actually a non-toxic flatulence spray called "Liquid A--" and "Wet Farts."

After Hirsi’s arrest was reported, Rep. Jamaal Bowman (R-N.Y.) tried to claim that her arrest was a political reprisal over the questions that Omar had asked during the hearing.

He posted on X, "The day after @IlhanMN questioned Columbia leadership's commitment to free academic expression, the school suspended her daughter?

"It's clear what is happening here. Our educational institutions should not be in the business of political reprisals."

Or maybe, just maybe, the school does not approve of its students trespassing on other campuses and promoting a terror state. I think that is far more likely.
