ICE says Biden administration twisted the numbers

We all know how bad the immigration situation was under the Biden administration.  

That situation just got a bit more complicated after Trump’s ICE made a huge announcement about the Biden figures.  

According to new ICE officials, the Biden administration was cooking the books regarding ICE arrests.

Biden’s immigration numbers were horrific, with it now being estimated that we have about 18 million illegal immigrants living in this country.  

That number is up over four million from before Trump took office, and that is probably a very conservative estimate.  

As if that was not bad enough, according to a new ICE report, the Biden administration was cooking the books to make the numbers look better than they were.  

ICE Director Todd Lyons stated, "We have uncovered that the previous administration… was cooking the books on ICE data. They were purposely misleading the American people by categorizing individuals processed and released into the interior of the United States as ICE arrests." 

"A comprehensive review was done internally here with ICE. We found tens of thousands of cases that were recorded as arrests when, in fact, these instances were illegal aliens that were simply processed and released into the American communities.” 

For those who believe ICE is being overly dramatic here, consider that the Trump administration is already outpacing the Biden administration regarding arrests, and we are only a few months into the year.  

This was a key issue in the 2024 election cycle and was one of the major influencing factors as to why Trump won the election even though half this country despises his mere existence.  

With the numbers they are talking about now, I would love to see Biden officials brought in to discuss these matters in open hearings before Congress and the American people.  

What continues to baffle me on this front is the argument that illegal immigration is not illegal.  

I just finished watching a video by Rep. Crockett (D-TX), who literally says entering the country illegally is not a crime, which is utterly ridiculous, something Trump border czar Tom Homan has discussed repeatedly on news shows.  

How ironic is it that the Democrats always paint themselves as the party that says nobody is above the law, yet they are looking past a crime being committed when it comes to illegal immigration.  

What is even more astonishing is that they are holding this line even though the majority of American voters want to see our borders locked down and illegal immigration decreased.
