Only moments ago, news broke that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's (D-CA) husband, Paul Pelosi, was violently attacked in their home.
Early reports stated that a home intruder broke into the home, attacked Mr. Pelosi, and is now in custody.
Police are now investigating the motive for the attack.

Drew Hammill, the spokesperson for Nancy Pelosi, stated, "Early this morning, an assailant broke into the Pelosi residence in San Francisco and violently assaulted Mr. Pelosi.
"The assailant is in custody and the motivation for the attack is under investigation.
"Mr. Pelosi was taken to the hospital, where he is receiving excellent medical care and is expected to make a full recovery.
"The speaker and her family are grateful to the first responders and medical professionals involved, and request privacy at this time."
Reports are just now coming in that the attacker used a hammer to assault Mr. Pelos.
Nancy Pelosi was not in San Francisco at the time of the attack.
The concern here, of course, is that some lunatic on the far right attacked Pelosi, which would be a dream for Democrats.
They would immediately latch on to that narrative to confirm their statements that conservatives are a danger to our republic.
I am hoping beyond hope this was just a random attack and not politically motivated.
