Hunter’s Attorney Ask Speaker Johnson to Stop Investigating Him

I have to admit, when I saw this report, I just about fell out of my chair laughing.

Hunter Biden’s attorneys have made a plea to newly elected Speaker Johnson (R-LA) to stop the congressional investigation into Hunter Biden.

Calling them “partisan political games,” the attorneys demanded that House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, and Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith back off.

Hunter Biden’s attorney, Abbe Lowell, sent the letter this week in the hopes that Johnson would cancel all the investigations, which will never happen.

In part, he wrote, "Before you cast your lot with and cede additional authority to those who have betrayed the trust placed in their offices by the Constitution, you should consider the numerous lies, falsehoods, and fabricated illustrations by your chamber’s chairmen in the course of peddling baseless allegations of misconduct by our client or his family that now will form the basis for them abusing their power with improper demands for records and testimony.

"Even in the era of ‘alternative facts,’ your colleagues’ manipulation and disregard for the truth is breathtaking.

"Please remind those who sat with you on November 1 what you recently said: that House Republicans have a ‘constitutional responsibility to follow th[e] truth,’ wherever it leads, and you promised to ‘only follow facts’ and not ‘use this for political partisan games.’"

He finished up his letter by calling them all “baseless allegations.”

So, you know how you stop all of this… you produce the documentation that Comer and the other committees have requested and the speculation all goes away.

For instance, Comer has traced $240,000 in payments made to Joe Biden from James Biden that were marked as “loan repayments.” Yet, there are no records of a front-end payment to James from Joe.

There is also no direct proof that James Biden was paying Joe Biden interest on the loans, as is required by the IRS for loans of this magnitude.

So far, Joe Biden’s only defense is that he says this is all partisan attacks, so we are supposed to take his word and back off.

I think Donald Trump used that same defense, and last time I checked, he was facing four criminal indictments and several civil cases, so I think we will just sit back and wait for Joe to give us that proof.
