Hunter Makes ‘Huge Change’ in Defense of Joe Biden

Hunter Biden held a press conference outside the Capitol to flip off GOP House members who had scheduled him for a closed-door hearing.

Hunter said that he would testify, but he wanted to all be open hearings that were televised.

In the process, he gave a nice little speech to protect his Daddy, but he may have just sold him down the river in the process.

Joe’s Involvement

Hunter tried to get his Dad out of trouble and accused Republicans of weaponizing the DOJ for coming after him.

The first problem is that when the charges were filed against Hunter, it was the Biden DOJ that filed the charges.

As for his comments about his father, he stated, "Let me state as clearly as I can: My father was not financially involved in my business — not as a practicing lawyer, not as a board member of Burisma, not in my partnership with a Chinese private businessman, not in my investments at home nor abroad and certainly not as an artist.”

The key here is that the denial has changed from his father not being involved to his father not being “financially involved.”

Rep. Jim Jordan picked up on this right away, stating, "I would just point out that I've had a chance to review what Hunter Biden said in his press conference. I think he made an interesting statement.

"He said his father was not financially involved in the business. And I think that qualifier, the word ‘financially’ is important because once again, it shows another change in this story."

Jordan later added, "That is a huge change, which means — sort of means he's involved. I think that's how anyone with common sense would read it."

For most of the last four years, it has always been Joe denying any involvement in Hunter’s business, but the evidence says that was not the case.

Even now, with Hunter saying “financially involved,” they still have quite a bit to prove that was not the case.

Rep. James Comer (R-KY) has provided evidence of repayments for “loans” from Hunter and James Biden, but they have yet to see any front-end payment by Joe to justify the repayments.

If Biden has that proof, why not produce it… unless he is just saving it to drop a bomb on Republicans closer to the election.

This whole thing is going to blow up on one side, I am just still not sure which. If Biden produces those documents, it will not be pretty for Republicans. But if they cannot provide that documentation, well, Joe could have some serious legal problems that would be far more serious than being impeached.
