Hunter Biden's Latest Charges Carefully Avoid Any Mention of President

One Fox News analyst is pointing out an odd concern in the latest Hunter Biden charges.

Jonathan Turley highlighted the observation that the indictment fails to mention President Joe Biden in any of its wording.

“Throughout this, there’s one person who is, just seems to be completely omitted, and that is Joe Biden. It’s like arresting a bank robber for speeding away from the crime scene without mentioning why he was speeding," analyst Jonathan Turley said.

"And you know, all these details are how Hunter Biden got all of this money from all of these foreign sources, from Ukraine, Romania, China. But there is nary a mention of the president himself,” he added.

"For all of the charges brought against Hunter, there's still more that were not. Special Counsel David Weiss, for instance, allowed the statute of limitations to run when it comes to China," a Townhall op-ed stated.

"This has to do with a WhatsApp message in which Hunter Biden referenced his father as he tried to extort a Chinese business partner. Thus, the indictments do not apply to such a message," it continued.

The charges are related to tax evasion and do not include Hunter Biden's earlier gun charges.

However, the new charges could include actual prison time, with the average sentence in such cases including over one year of time served.

The news also comes Hunter Biden faces an upcoming appearance with the Oversight Committee that could lead to further details in his questionable business deals.

Republicans hope to use the information in their plans for an impeachment inquiry against the president that threatens his leadership as he runs for a second term in office next year.
