Hunter Biden Wants Subpoenas for Trump and Former Adm. Officials

Hunter Biden’s legal team is starting to show just how desperate they are right now.

Lead attorney for Biden, Abbe Lowell, wants to subpoena Trump on the premise that the interest in Hunter only arose due to "incessant, improper, and partisan pressure."

In addition to Donald Trump, Lowell is also looking for subpoenas for former Attorney General Bill Barr, former acting Deputy AG Richard Donoghue, and former acting AG Jeffrey Rosen.

The Probe

Knowing how requests depend on the ideology of the judge these days, who knows how this would fall, but I would shoot this down in a heartbeat if I were on the bench, which I will get into in a second.

The request reads, "The initial investigation was born out of a wider probe into Mr. Biden’s taxes and foreign business dealings.

"Public reporting reveals certain instances that appear to suggest incessant, improper, and partisan pressure applied by then President Trump to Messrs. Rosen, Donoghue, and Barr in relation to an investigation of Mr. Biden.

"Mr. Biden seeks specific information from three former DOJ officials and the former President that goes to the heart of his defense that this is, possibly, a vindictive or selective prosecution arising from an unrelenting pressure campaign beginning in the last administration, in violation of Mr. Biden’s Fifth Amendment rights under the Constitution.”

That is just a bit twisted because the initial requests were due to the fact it was widely believed that Hunter Biden was funneling money to Joe Biden.

It was also believed that Joe Biden, as a sitting vice president and former Senator, had been greasing the ways for Hunter to make boatloads of cash.

This went to the possible corruption or compromising of Joe Biden as a possible president at the time, which was very relevant to the election.

Trump, nor anyone named, has responded to the request as of the writing of this report.

We are going to have to wait to see how the judge rules on this because that could be mute if the request is denied, which it should be.
