Hunter Biden Jury Seated for Trial

The jury has finally been chosen in the Hunter Biden gun charges case.

US District Judge Maryellen Noreika swore in the 12 jurors and four alternatives after lengthy questioning.

Among other topics, the panel was asked questions about Donald Trump and drugs.

The Jury

According to reports, the jury is composed of six men and six women. Seven of the jurors are black, as are two of the alternates.

In all, there were 250 people summoned for jury duty, with about 60 of them facing questions before the finalists were chosen.

Judge Noreika dismissed 30 jurors on her own, starting with those that had scheduling conflicts or who stated they could not be impartial.

In one case, a man who would have favored Hunter declared that owning a gun is a man’s “God-given right,” so he was dismissed.

Actually, it is a constitutional right, one that is revoked for people who are felons and drug addicts, among other disqualifiers.

There were others excused on the left extreme, claiming that all guns should be banned and guns are used by people to “kill children in schools.”

Hunter has pleaded not guilty to three felony accounts of illegal possession of a firearm while addicted to crack cocaine.

This is the first of two cases for Hunter, with the second being the tax evasion case, which is scheduled for later this year.

This should be an open-and-shut case against Hunter Biden, with there literally being pictures of him naked, holding the gun, while in the presence of drugs.

I won’t say there is no chance that Hunter will walk because we have to assume the jury will be sympathetic to the Bidens in Delaware.

Not to mention the fact the First Lady will be there every day staring down the jury, daring them to convict her "innocent" little stepson.

Noreika is a Trump-appointed judge, but she was appointed with Trump upholding the long-standing tradition of allowing the state’s two Senators, both Democrats, to submit the names of judges they would support.

This is, by all accounts, a Democrat-appointed judge.

This will surely be a test of how well our justice system works.
