Special Counsel Will Seek Indictment for Hunter Biden Gun Charges

It looks like Hunter Biden’s world is starting to fall apart.

He went from having a sweetheart plea deal to possibly facing an indictment.

The internet just about broke when a report surfaced that Special Counsel David Weiss is now going to seek an indictment on gun charges against Hunter Biden, reported CNN.

It’s a New Day

I will be the first person to admit that I was a bit stunned that Weiss has finally cracked on this.

He was clearly protecting Hunter Biden to this point, so announcing that he was seeking an indictment surely sent a shock wave through the White House.

Weiss’ team informed U.S. District Judge Maryellen Noreika of their intent on Wednesday. And remember, this ball did not start to get rolling until Judge Noreika tossed out the idea of giving Hunter Biden immunity on all possible future charges.

In the original deal, Hutner was going to plead guilty to lesser counts of tax evasion to avoid jail time on the felony gun charge.

That deal fell apart on the day that Hunter Biden was to make his plea in court, and Noreika gave prosecutors until August 6 to report back to her… and boy did they.

The firearm in question has been repeatedly seen in photos of Hunter Biden from his laptop.

That gun first became an issue in 2021 when it was reported that there was a 2018 incident of a gun owned by Hunter had been tossed in a trash bin in Delaware.

The police report of the incident stated that it had been Hallie Biden who actually threw the gun away. At the time, Hallie, who was the widow of Joe’s other son, Beau, and Hunter were having an affair.

On the forms to purchase the gun, Hunter responded negatively to the question asking if he was "an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance,” reported Fox News.

Hunter’s drug issues are well-known, and he was even booted from the Navy for using cocaine, so that was an obvious lie, which is a felony.

Now, finally, Hunter may actually go to jail for a crime he committed.
