Hunter Biden Gun Case Set for June 3 Trial Date

Hunter Biden is finally about to have his day in court, that is unless his attorneys suddenly work some magic and get another plea deal for the first son.

On Wednesday, it was announced that a tentative trial date for the gun charge indictment against Hunter is set for June 3.

Hunter also has a June trial date for his tax charges.

Day in Court

Hunter Biden drew the short straw in this trial, as the presiding judge is U.S. District Judge Maryellen Noreika, who was appointed to the bench by Donald Trump.

The trial is expected to take about 10 days to wrap up.

There will be about two days of jury selection, five days for prosecutors to present their case, then a day or two for the defense to present its case, followed by closing arguments.

Hunter has two counts related to wrongly filling out forms, as well as one count for possessing a weapon while using narcotics.

If Hunter is found guilty, he could serve as much as 25 years, unless the sentences were to run concurrently, which would be likely, at which point he would do no more than 10 years.

However, even that is a stretch since Hunter is technically a first-time offender, but that is only because Daddy got him out of trouble before.

Hunter’s tax case is scheduled to start on June 20, so Noreika could change the trial date if she believes this case would stretch out and interfere with the tax trial, which attorneys believe will last well into mid to late July.

This all could have been over already, but Hunter’s defense team decided to play hardball after a plea deal had been nullified because it extended immunity to Hunter for all charges past the tax charges.

His attorneys literally told prosecutors to tear up the deal and they would see them in court… and now Hunter is about to get his wish.
