Well, this is low even for Hunter Biden.
Lunden Roberts, the mother of Hunter's illegitimate child, Navy Joan, is filing for their daughter to be able to legally change her name to Biden.
Roberts knows the name has value to it, so she would like her daughter to be able to cash in.
Even though the daughter has been proven to be Hunter's, the First Son is reportedly fighting the petition, making it very clear that the Biden family does not consider Navy Joan one of their own.
Not Happening
Personally, I have no idea why Roberts would want that name for her daughter.
If this family gets even half the justice it deserves, that name will be mud soon enough.
Believe it or not, I actually agree with the reason that Hunter Biden gave, saying that if she changes her name, she will never have a "peaceful existence."
Now, I don't believe that reason, of course.
If that was the case, why do all of his other children have his name?
This is more about Hunter Biden protecting his family from Navy being able to tap into the family money once he dies.
We should also note that when asked about his granddaughter, Joe Biden has avoided the question or insulted the journalist that asked the question.
And, as far as we know, Joe and Jill Biden have never made any effort to meet the young lady, and she surely was not included on the family stockings on the mantel over Christmas.
Unfortunately for Hunter, the Arkansas court system tends to decide in favor of the child having the father's name.
There is even a recent precedent, Huffman v. Fisher, dealing with this exact subject.
Roberts is maintaining that regardless of the sideshow, the Biden name is "now synonymous with being well-educated, successful, financially acute, and politically powerful," and she wants her daughter to be able to enjoy those benefits.
