Hunter Biden has added a new lawyer as he anticipates an investigation from the House next year when Republicans take back the majority.
Biden added Abbe Lowell to the team, a high-profile D.C. attorney, as the main leader of his legal response.

"Hunter Biden has retained Abbe Lowell to help advise him and be part of his legal team to address the challenges he is facing," Kevin Morris — another Hunter Biden lawyer — told NBC News, which first reported on Lowell's retention.
"Lowell is a well-known Washington-based attorney who has represented numerous public officials and high-profile people in DOJ investigations and trials as well as congressional investigations," Morris added.
"Mr. Lowell will handle congressional investigations and general strategic advice," he continued.

"A partner at the law firm Winston and Strawn, Lowell is primarily tasked with handling Hunter's response to the imminent congressional probes next term, stemming from content found on his old laptop. He will also provide general strategic advice," Newsmax reported.
"Lowell has represented a slate of notable figures in the past, including former President Bill Clinton, former President Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner, and Democratic Sen. Bob Menendez of New Jersey," it added.
The legal plan continued to grow as Hunter faces concerns over his business dealings in multiple countries. He also faces damaging evidence from a laptop he left behind at a computer repair store that included a vast wealth of communications regarding his personal and business activities.
The future may not look good for Hunter Biden, but the greater concern is over what implications may exist with his father, President Joe Biden.
