House Republicans Release Impeachment Report
Since the GOP took over the House, the Republicans have been investigating Joe Biden for possible impeachment offenses.
The report, which is 292 pages long, claims that Biden engages in “impeachable conduct,” but the House seems unlikely to try to impeach Biden.
Just more proof that America can't trust Joe Biden...
Since he is not running for a second term and the impeachment would never pass the House, it would just be a waste of time.
Damning Report
The report was obviously not good for Biden, but the media has already pretty much dismissed it as total partisan nonsense.
Even so, you should know what they found. The report, in part, stated, “President Joe Biden conspired to commit influence peddling and grift. In doing so, he abused his office and, by repeatedly lying about his abuse of office, has defrauded the United States to enrich his family.
“Not one of these transactions would have occurred, but for Joe Biden’s official position in the United States government.
“This pattern of conduct ensured his family — who provided no legitimate services — lived a lavish lifestyle. The evidence uncovered in the Committees’ impeachment inquiry reflects a family selling the ‘Biden brand’ around the world with President Biden— the ‘big guy’ — swooping in to seal the deal on speaker phones or in private dinners. It shows a concerted effort to conceal President Biden’s involvement in the family’s influence peddling scheme.”
The report, which you can read here, goes on to outline all the major violations that Republicans are claiming against Biden and his family members.
I still question how they planned on impeaching Biden as president for something that took place when he was VP, and that is a question that many constitutional experts have also asked.
And to be clear, I think Biden is guilty as hell, but I question if he ever could have been impeached over this.
To me, this entire exercise was futile from the beginning. Had I been in charge, I would have run it as a regular investigation to prosecute Biden, not impeach him, and set the table for a GOP AG to indict Biden once Republicans take back the White House.
