House Republicans are finally getting a little bit of a backbone to go after Biden.
The House is significantly increasing pressure for the Biden administration to answer for the dramatic increase in child labor in this country due to Biden's lax border laws.
Honestly, the mainstream media is all-in on this one, at least they were, so I have no idea why it is taking the House so long to really blow this issue up.
Get On Them
Several weeks ago, there was a major piece in the New York Times about the increase in child labor in this country.
The piece also documented how the administration had lost contact with 85,000 migrant children that it handed off to adults.
This new effort is being led by Rep. Juan Ciscomani (R-AZ), who penned a letter to Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra demanding detailed answers for the information that was in that New York Times report, reports Fox News.
Rather than talking about abortion or gas stoves, this is where Republicans need to focus all their attention right.
This is an issue that will go across the aisle and if the mainstream media grabs it, liberals might actually care that Biden is serving as a conduit for human traffickers who are selling these children into labor.
The letter, in part, stated, "These children are sent by their parents and drawn to our country for economic opportunity. Then, our systems and the protections they should be afforded fail them as a lack of vetting puts them in harm's way.
"It is the responsibility of HHS to properly vet the people these children are being released to and to protect them from being exploited. Yet, it has been reported that caseworkers feel rushed to move children out of government custody quickly and are not fully vetting the people to whom the children are released. Thus, putting these minors in dangerous environment."
I am not even going to print the response by DHS because it the same garbage that Mayorkas has spewed during hearings.
The bottom line is this administration wants to keep that border open at all costs, including seeing children used for labor to pay off their family's debt to human smugglers.
This is the issue, Republicans, and you need to pounce.
