House Oversight Committee: Biden Denies Requests for Proof of Loan

Transparency… it is what Joe Biden promised the American people but what he also refuses to deliver.

Over the last couple of weeks, Rep. James Comer (R-KY), the chair of the House Oversight Committee, found at least two direct payments that were made to Joe Biden from James Biden.

The payments totaled $240,000 and while both were marked as loan repayments, Comer could find no correlating deposit in James Biden’s account.

When the first $200,000 payment was discovered, the White House tried to explain it as a loan repayment, which was how the check was marked.

Then a second payment was found for $40,000, with the same notation.

As Comer and the committee went through James Biden’s financials, they were unable to find deposits from Joe Biden for those amounts.

The White House could end all speculation about possible illegal payments by producing an agreement between the brothers for the loan or even a canceled check showing Biden paying James the initial money, but it is stonewalling the request by the House Oversight Committee.

The House Oversight Committee posted the update on X, “The White House today made clear to us that President Biden is refusing to hand over loan documents for any ‘loans’ he provided to his brother, James Biden.

“We’ve exposed nearly a quarter of a million dollars that James Biden sent to Joe Biden as ‘loan repayments’ that were funded by laundered China money and influence peddling schemes.

“Is this what ‘the most transparent administration in history’ is supposed to look like?”

As Comer noted, Biden promised to have a transparent administration, but that is clearly not the case here.

If Biden cannot produce the documents, there is really only one conclusion to make… there was never an initial payment made to James Biden and this money was Joe Biden’s “share” of the shady business deals that Hunter and James were making overseas.

The only other possibility is that Biden has the documentation but he wants the GOP to run wild on this, then drop a bomb on them down the road. However, with the way Biden is polling right now, he really cannot afford to have this allegation start to run wild in the media.

The only response that Joe Biden has given to the media on this front, specifically about Biden being compromised, was, “Give me a break, man.”
