House Meeting Erupts in Insults Being Hurled

I believe it may have only been last week that, in one of my reports, I stated that I thought Congress was devolving into something that reminded me of a child's playground or classroom.

My point was that these "adults" who are elected to represent the American people were acting more like petulant children than top government officials.

An argument that broke out during a House meeting on Tuesday, per The Hill, now has me convinced that my assessment of Congress was dead accurate.

He Said, She Said

We all know that when you do not agree with Democrats or one of their causes, you are a racist, a bigot, or something along those lines.

That was what happened this week, and the reactions by both members were shameful.

This turned into a childlike argument that was embarrassing. What makes matters even worse, Rep. Mark Pocan (D-WI) played it up to get more laughs from the floor.

Pocan's disagreement came with Rep. Andy Harris (R-MD), and it was over the "grooming" in gender ideology from LGBTQ organizations, reported Fox News.

Pocan basically called Harris a bigot without directly calling him a bigot. And Harris sounded like the snowflake that Pocan called him when he was trying to defend himself. Clearly, there was a lack of testosterone in the room on both sides of this argument. Democrat or Republican, we should all be ashamed of their behavior.

Here is the exchange as it all went down…

I don't know about you guys, but that is embarrassing.

We have so many issues in this country right now that are impacting the lives of everyday Americans, and these two are going for big headlines over this confrontation, especially Pocan, who was clearly playing this for everything he could get out of it.

We are electing immature children to Congress, not responsible adults.
