House Dems Hoping to Pass Policing Bill Before Election

Polling has shown that rising crime is one of the nation's major issues other than inflation.

For most of the last six years, Democrats have handed their cities over to thugs and villainized police.

Now they are hoping to shun that label by passing a major police funding bill.

The Flip-flop

Dems have significantly damaged our cities, and now they want credit for attempting to get things back under control.

Many House Democrats hope to pass the "Invest to Protect Act."

This legislation will help a lot of cities will smaller police forces (125 officers or less).

Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-N.J.) stated, "The bipartisan Invest to Protect Act is about investing in good policing, and protecting our families and our officers.

"It will ensure that local departments, in New Jersey and communities across our country, have what they need to recruit and retain the finest officers, to provide training, and invest in providing mental health resources.

"I'm proud to have worked closely with Republicans, Democrats, and a broad spectrum of stakeholders to make real progress for public safety."

This bill will likely pass the House, but pay attention to which Democrats refuse to support the legislation.

We also need to make sure the Democrats who are behind this do not get credit for wiping up the milk they spilled on the counter.
