If it’s election season, you know liberal talk shows are going to dust off Hillary Clinton and bring her back out to whine about 2016.
That being the case, of course Hillary was slated to appear on “The View.”
Hillary did not disappoint, dusting off the old dependable line that Trump is a threat to our democracy if he wins.
Here We Go Again
It is almost comical that in the same breath, Hillary will say 2016 was stolen from her but Trump was wrong for challenging the results of the 2020 election.
As she once again whined about losing, Hillary stated, "I can't even think that, because I think it would be the end of our country as we know it, and I don't say that lightly. I hated losing, and I especially hated losing to him because I'd seen so many warning signals during the campaign.”
The panel, as expected, gushed over her, with Joy Behar designating Hillary as the winner of the 2016 election because she won the popular vote, to which Hillary seemed to agree.
Both slammed the Electoral College, you know, that pesky little measure our Founders put in the Constitution to make sure every state mattered. Were it not for the EC, we might as well allow New York, California, Texas, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Ohio, Georgia, North Carolina, Michigan, and Florida to decide each election.
The entire purpose of the EC is to make sure the vote in every state counts. Without it, whoever controls the states mentioned above, more specifically California, Texas, New York, and Florida, wins the election.
Dems want to do away with the EC because California alone would hand them most popular votes today.
Cassidy Hutchinson finished the appearance actually using one of Hillary’s talking points.
She stated, "I think it's the responsibility of every American to make sure his name is not on the Republican ticket.
"If Donald Trump were to be elected to a second term in office, I fear for the future of our country, I fear for the future of our democracy."
Keep using those trigger words… we saw how well it worked for Hillary in 2016.
