BBC Anchor Reveals He Has Prostate Cancer

Tragedy has struck the BBC broadcasting family.

Anchor Nick Owen revealed that he has prostate cancer on Monday, reported the Daily Caller.

Owen hoped to raise more awareness of the condition by revealing how he learned of his initial diagnosis and what his personal experience was since learning of the condition.

You Need to Sit Down

I still remember the feeling in the pit of my stomach when my sister was diagnosed with cancer, which, thankfully, she beat.

I have numerous friends who were not so lucky, some still alive today living out their lives as best they can while the clock ticks against them.

Owen discussed how he found out about the condition, which seemed to be a bit of a shock considering his recent exams.

He stated, “I went to see a specialist. He wasn’t too worried because my figures weren’t that high, but he decided I ought to have a scan and then the scan said there was something dodgy going on.

“And then he sent me for a biopsy which he did and the results of that were the killer, on April the 13th, a date which will forever be imprinted on my mind,” reported the BBC.

Owen went on to tell how it all played out after the diagnosis, stating, “He told us that it was extensive really and aggressive, and I had prostate cancer full-on, and something needed to be done pretty fast.

“That was probably the worst day of my life, or certainly one of them.”

He continued, “It was a very grim moment, driving home after that sort of news and ringing people, texting people, my phone went crazy for hours on end.”

Perhaps Owen should give Joe Biden a call because I am pretty sure Biden said cancer no longer exists as we know it just last week.
