Five San Antonio Officers Have Committed Suicide in Seven Months

Something very wrong is going on in San Antonio, TX, with our law enforcement.

Over the last seven months, five officers have taken their own lives.

It is a problem we are seeing across the country, and it must be addressed.

Breaking Point

The problem as I see it is that these officers have nowhere to go.

Today's society has demonized these officers to the point that they feel like they are up against it the moment they put on that badge.

Many officers are now second-guessing themselves on the street out of fear of going to jail if they make a mistake.

Liberals are licking their chops in the hopes that an officer pulled the trigger too early so they can slap murder charges on officers.

That brings us to San Antonio, where five officers, four active duty and one that had just retired, turned their weapons on themselves.

Tania Glenn, a trauma therapist in Austin, TX, tries to explain.

Glenn specializes in mental health for first responders and veterans.

She stated, "They have a really big city with a lot of violence, and they have been dealing with the media portrayals of law enforcement folks as demons.

"And they have sort of been cut off from society and engaging in making people happy with 'coffee with a cop' and things like that.

"All these things have really come to a screeching halt between the pandemic and what happened after George Floyd. So, they're isolated.

"Their mental health is suffering, the trauma is compounding, and it's just this perfect storm for what's happening there."

This issue has seeped into their homes, as spouses are often targeted if they display the thin blue line sticker.

Glenn continued, "It comes down to the fact that all they see is that suicide is the only option and their brain and depression does this awful thing.

"It really tricks you into believing that people will be better off without you, which, of course, cannot be further from the truth."

We need to fix this problem, but we surely cannot do that when you people like Rep. Bush (D-MO) and her fellow Squad members demonize police daily.
