Harris Record on Immigration Coming Back to Haunt Her

Kamala Harris continues to try to separate herself from the policies of this administration, but her record tells a different story.

Most conservatives believe she is lying through her teeth when she talks about securing the border.

If you look at Harris’ voting record as a Senator, that belief is backed up.

Your Record Says…

If you are like me, you don’t trust a word out of any politician’s mouth, especially during an election season, more so during the final weeks.

They will say whatever needs to be said in order to get elected, and Harris is at the top of that list.

Harris continues to present herself as a tough-on-crime prosecutor and someone who has prosecuted border cases.

But the fact of the matter is that Harris was only tough on crime when it suited her, and that meant that her political allies and their friends were always taken care of.

For immigration, all we have to go on is her record, and her record during this administration is pathetic.

As a Senator, it was just as bad, as Harris supported legislation that would have released some 20,000 illegals from custody.

In 2018, Harris partnered with Rep. Jayapal (D-WA) to sponsor the Detention Oversight Not Expansion (DONE) Act.

Harris, at the time, stated, “ICE’s indiscriminate approach to immigration enforcement continues to sow fear and anxiety in communities across the nation and strict oversight is long overdue.

“It is unconscionable to subject detainees to inhumane conditions that include cases of unchecked sexual abuse, outright medical negligence, lack of access to counsel, and in some cases, even death. It’s time to end the expansion of these facilities that divert these resources to address true public safety threats.”

Yet, now she wants us all to believe that border security is atop her agenda.

RJ Hauman, president of the National Immigration Center for Enforcement (NICE), agrees, stating, “Kamala Harris has been tight-lipped about her plans to enforce federal immigration laws, but the name of one of this proposal, the DONE Act, is telling.

“Interior enforcement would in fact be done and nullified if she takes office.”

Like I said, we cannot trust a single word that comes out of her mouth.
