Harris rallies get infiltrated by anti-Israel activists
Vice President Kamala Harris's campaign rallies have recently been upended by anti-Israel activists, Fox News reports.
This is likely to prove problematic for Harris in more ways than one.
On the one hand, these activists are making it difficult for Harris to have a strong close to her 2024 campaign.
On the other, this same crowd of people could play a large role in keeping Harris from becoming the next president of the United States. Read on to understand why.
Harris "plagued" by anti-Israel activists
Fox reports:
Throughout the election season, Vice President Kamala Harris' rallies have been plagued by anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian protesters, despite the vice president's efforts not to upset this cohort of the electorate.
Fox goes on to report that several incidents of this type occurred in recent days.
Per the outlet:
Protesters gathered at Harris' campaign stops in North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin on Wednesday, often disrupting the vice president and forcing her to pause in the middle of speaking.
All of these incidents have been caught on camera, and, even though this is a problem that Harris has been facing for months, it is clear that she still has no idea how to handle the situation. Take, for example, a look at this.
This was also a problem for President Joe Biden, back before Democratic leadership kicked him out of the running and replaced him with Harris.
Here's what is going on:
There is a sizable contingent of Democrats who are anti-Israel, but being anti-Israel is not a popular position in the United States.
This has turned into a major problem for Harris and the Democrats because this group of anti-Israel Americans is sizeable enough to perhaps keep Harris from becoming the next president, should they either vote against her or abstain from voting.
The reason for this is that many of these anti-Israel voters are located in important swing states, such as Minnesota, and the swing states, of course, are those states that are going to decide the outcome of the 2024 presidential election.
Now, if Harris goes too anti-Israel, she will lose pro-Israel Democrats, and, if she goes too pro-Israel, she will lose anti-Israel Democrats. The crazy part is that she has, more or less, shown herself to align more with the anti-Israel crowd, but, despite this, anti-Israel voters are still protesting her.
The bottom line is that none of this is looking good for Harris with the 2024 election just days away.
