Harris Oversteps, Causes Panic in Florida on Relief Funding

Kamala Harris singlehandedly decided to create the guidelines for relief from Hurricane Ian.

Minorities and women to the front of the line, white men to the back of the line.

Needless to say, this created significant panic after she said it.

The Latest Word Salad

The word of the day is “equity.”

Harris was at the Democratic National Committee Women's Leadership Forum when she sent Floridians into a panic.

While addressing the issue of aid for victims, she stated, "It is our lowest income communities and our communities of color that are most impacted by these extreme conditions, and impacted by issues that are not of their own making.”

Then came the word salad that sent a wave of panic across Florida.

Harris continued, "And so we have to address this in a way that is about giving resources based on equity, understanding that we fight for equality but we also need to fight for equity, understanding not everyone starts out in the same place, and if we want people to be in an equal place sometimes we have to take into account those disparities, and do that work.”

How about “no.”

There is no race or gender factored in here and Florida officials were quick to set the record straight.

Christina Pushaw, the rapid response director for Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, responded, "This is false. @VP's rhetoric is causing undue panic and must be clarified. FEMA Individual Assistance is already available to all Floridians impacted by Hurricane Ian, regardless of race or background.

"The areas impacted in SWFL are not particularly minority areas. They are getting help based on need not based on race.”

I keep telling you guys, this is what the Democrat Party wants.

They are trying to sow racial divide in this country until it erupts.

Harris does not even have a say in how this money gets distributed, yet she is making a statement to pander, not to mention the panic it caused among people that are already going through hell.

I cannot believe we have two more years of these idiots in office before we can boot them out.
