Harris Held Private Meeting with PM Netanyahu
This week, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke before a joint session of Congress to make his case for funding to continue the war against Hamas.
More than 100 Democrats boycotted his appearance, and Kamala Harris was also notably missing.
However, after the fact, she reportedly held a private meeting with Netanyahu to discuss matters.
The Private Meeting
After Harris met with Netanyahu, she ran right to the media to play tough guy against Israel.
Harris stated, "And as I just told Prime Minister Netanyahu it is time to get this deal done.
“Let's get the deal done. So we can get a ceasefire to end the war.
“Let's bring the hostages home. And let's provide much-needed relief to the Palestinian people."
Israel was not at all thrilled with how Harris came off after the meeting, with one Israeli official stating, "Harris' statement after the meeting was much more critical than what she told Netanyahu in the meeting.”
Biden often does the same thing by acting tough in the media after the fact, apparently thinking the other side is not listening or will not push back against statements that make them look weak.
The same official said that Netanyahu was not pleased with Harris’ public criticism of Israel, especially amid the current negotiations.
It is baffling why Democrats refuse to hold Palestine and Hamas to the same level of accountability as they hold Israel, as if Israel is the aggressor.
And let’s not forget, Palestine has literally done nothing to help Israel defeat Hamas, so this tone of Harris’, to me, is simply unacceptable and is meant to do nothing more than to appease the far left in the Democrat Party.
