Harris Goes MIA After Election

What happened to Kamala after it was determined that Donald Trump won the race?

That is what everyone wants to know.

Harris was MIA for a full 24 hours, which led to #WhereIsKamala going viral on social media.

Where is Kamala

Kamala had a lot to live up to as a female candidate win or lose the election.

Had she won, she would have made history as not only the first female president but also as the first female president of color.

Losing, well, she still needed to set an example for young women around the country by being graceful in defeat.

Harris failed to do that by not calling Donald Trump after the results were finalized early Wednesday morning. In fact, she did the complete opposite.

Harris left all of her supporters hanging all night long without a word, then she sent one of her campaign officials out there to tell everyone she would not be speaking that night.

Not only that but even though the race had been called, the campaign insisted that not all votes were counted and they were going to continue to fight for the win.

Wednesday morning came and went, and "Where is Kamala?" started to trend.

She finally called around mid-day on Wednesday, and from the reports I read, she was not exactly gracious in defeat.

Harris still had not spoken to her supporters, however, but it was finally announced that she would be speaking to everyone in the early evening.

Harris finally made it to the stage around dinner time with a defiant speech. It was not quite Donald Trump after the 2020 election, but it was clearly not the unifying speech that everyone was expecting.

In terms of setting an example for young women, I would consider the entire debacle a complete failure.

While I do believe that Harris will likely run again, I don't see how she can ever make herself more attractive to voters.

If she is the ace in the hole in 2028, Dems are going to get it handed to them again.
