Harris Finally Agrees to Interview, but Walz Will Tag Along
The fingerprints of the establishment are all over this decision.
Harris has been waiting more than a month for a formal interview, and that will finally end on Thursday.
Harris has agreed to sit down for a lengthy interview with CNN’s Dana Bash, but the kicker is that Governor Tim Walz will be tagging along to protect Harris.
Watch Her Six
Harris is a horrible interviewee, and she always has been, and you know the powers that be in the Democrat Party are quite aware of this.
Dana Bash can be tough when she wants to be, but we will obviously not know if she serves up softballs or actually makes Harris explain herself until the interview airs on Thursday night.
A lot rides on this interview for Harris, and Dems were clearly not taking any chances, so Tim Walz will do the interview with Harris.
Now, this could present its own challenges if Bash does her job and calls out Walz for the many lies he has been caught (and that is only if she prevents him from using “misspoke” as his defense).
This was not missed by members of the Trump campaign or the Republican Party, who are now shredding Harris for needing Walz to back her up and deflect.
The Trump War Room posted on X, "BREAKING: On Thursday — 39 days since being installed as the Democrat nominee — Kamala will sit for her first formal interview.* ** * Joint, since she’s not competent enough to do it on her own. ** Taped, so her handlers have time to play damage control."
Trump adviser Jason Miller added, "Harris can’t even do 1-on-1 interview! & not even live, it’s taped, so they can edit Harris. Unbelievable.”
I agree with both, as I would have liked to have seen a lengthy interview with Harris and Walz individually to address the issues related to each without having someone there to bail them out.
While this interview for Harris is big, it is not quite as big as her upcoming debate with Donald Trump.
Harris lost her fight to have the rules changed in her favor, and she won’t have Walz to back her up, relying on the moderators to protect her.
I generally skip Democrat interviews, but I will be watching this time just to see if Bash goes after her for the blatant lies and mistruths or if CNN does what we all expect, serve up some softballs for Harris to knock out of the park.
