Harris Facing Multiple Allegations of Plagiarism

It would appear that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have something else in common besides serving in the worst administration in modern history.

Like Joe, Harris apparently has a history of plagiarism.

She was already facing allegations of plagiarism for her book, “Smart on Crime,” but a deeper dive into her history has shown that this was not a one-time deal.

Can I Copy?

When the allegations were initially made about her book, they were written off more as sloppy work than actual plagiarism.

The Washington Free Beacon, however, did a much deeper dive on Harris’ and found multiple instances of possible plagiarism.

While testifying before Congress in 2007, Harris submitted a written statement to the House Judiciary Committee, which stated, "There are numerous criminal cases that are particularly difficult because of the dynamics involved.

"To name just a few—child abuse, elder neglect, domestic violence, identity theft and public corruption. The stakes are simply too high to allow any attorney other than experienced prosecutors to handle these matters."

When Harris’ full testimony was compared to the testimony of DA Paul Logli of Winnebago County, Illinois, it was almost verbatim. Logli testified before the committee about two months before Harris.

Some of this plagiarism also appears in work that was published by Harris as the California Attorney General.

O.H Skinner, Arizona’s former solicitor general, commented, "Being a state's top lawyer is a real responsibility.

"It requires attention to detail. When you cannot bother to produce your own work, it says something about your approach to a job that demands the best from those in it."

In fact, in one instance, Harris presented what was a fictional case from another organization as an actual case.

Skinner added, "She was never viewed in the Attorney General community as being an intellectual leader. It is very on-brand with that reputation to hear now that she was repackaging stories from other locations as though they happened in California."

Harris has also used, verbatim, work from a former California AG, Bill Lockyear, Wikipedia, and a New York judge, Roger McDonough.

Plagiarism sent previous Biden presidential campaigns off the rails, so we will see how this impacts the Harris campaign, if at all.

The media is digging up all kinds of dirt on Trump right now, including more sexual harassment allegations, while completely ignoring the allegations made against Doug Emhoff, Harris’ husband.

So, I am not sure if this will get the traction it deserves, but time will tell.
