Last week, Kamala Harris created an uproar over the aid from FEMA to Floridians.
Harris claimed the aid would be given out based on equity.
Now she will not take any questions on the matter.
Not Happening
First and foremost, Harris does not have the authority to make this happen.
Yet, she stated, "It is our lowest-income communities and our communities of color that are most impacted by these extreme conditions.
"We have to address this in a way that is about giving resources based on equity, understanding that we fight for equality, but we also need to fight for equity."
It sounds like we need more information, yet Harris is dodging questions...
By the way, the FEMA boss already came out and said Harris got it wrong.
Ron DeSantis' office also pushed back, responding, "This is false. [Harris'] rhetoric is causing undue panic and must be clarified.
"FEMA Individual Assistance is already available to all Floridians impacted by Hurricane Ian, regardless of race or background."
Harris needs to apologize for the panic she caused as well as her shameless pandering.
