Harris Campaign Appears to Surrender NC to Trump
It would appear that Donald Trump’s path to 270 just got a whole lot easier.
Reports are breaking everywhere that Harris has pulled her ads in North Carolina.
Harris has plenty of campaign cash, so this is clearly a move to surrender the state and devote resources elsewhere.
We’re Done
In the most recent polling, Trump holds a 3-point edge over Harris in North Carolina.
That would appear to be enough for Harris to pack it in and call it a day in North Carolina only a week out.
This is great news for Trump because North Carolina, along with Georgia, is a must-win state for Trump for his easiest path to 270.
Trump now only needs to win Georgia, a split in Arizona and Nevada, and a split between Michigan and Pennsylvania to win this election.
Trump has been leading in Georgia, and the polls that were just released today show Trump’s lead up to 3% in that state.
If we look at Arizona and Nevada, Trump appears to be distancing himself from Harris in Arizona, but Nevada still appears to be a toss-up between the two candidates.
The Blue Wall states are where Harris will live or die, however. Michigan is still a toss-up, Pennsylvania appears to be leaning toward Trump, and Wisconsin remains a toss-up.
If I were Trump, I would continue to work in North Carolina to ensure the win, but his campaign should be blanketing Georgia, Arizona, Michigan, and Pennsylvania right now.
He should be holding two to three events every day right through election day to lock in the states that he needs to defeat Harris.
I don’t see any big stories or scandals breaking that could flip the election one week out, so this is now a battle of attrition and who really wants it.
Trump is no stranger to hard work, so he really needs to sell that to the American people that he is willing to put in the work to earn their vote, while Harris remains on cruise control down the stretch.
