Harris attack on Trump backfires spectacularly
Vice President Kamala Harris's attempt to attack her 2024 election opponent - former President Donald Trump - has backfired spectacularly.
In case you missed it, Fox News, among others, reported, last week, that Harris planned "to troll" Trump during the Georgia-Alabama college football game that was scheduled to take place on Saturday.
Suffice it to say that things did not go as planned for Harris.
The outing proved to be a big success for Trump.
Background
Last week, Fox reported that Harris's campaign was planning to fly a banner over the Bryant-Denny Stadium where the game was to take place.
"Vice President Kamala Harris has reportedly arranged for a banner trolling former President Trump to fly over Bryant-Denny Stadium, where he is expected to make an appearance during Saturday’s SEC showdown between No. 2 Georgia and fourth-ranked Alabama," the outlet reported.
It added, "The Harris campaign plans to launch a new ad during the game that needles Trump on the prospect of a second presidential debate, The Associated Press reported. But according to other reports, she’s also planning a flyover in Tuscaloosa."
The banner was supposed to say, "Trump’s Punting on 2nd Debate."
The backstory here, of course, is that Harris has been trying to get Trump to participate in another debate, but Trump has been refusing - after claiming victory in their first debate.
Here's what happened at the game:
The short story is that, according to Breitbart News, Trump received significant support from fans at the game.
Per the outlet:
Former President Donald Trump received a loud welcome from the crowd attending the college football game between the University of Alabama and the University of Georgia. Trump’s guests included Kid Rock, Hank Williams Jr., John Daly, Sen. Tommy Tuberville, Sen. Steve Daines, and Sen. Katie Britt. The former president was recognized by the announcer.
Breitbart goes on to post video footage from the game that has been posted on X. The footage shows the warm welcome that Trump received from football fans. Take a look:

Whatever shenanigans Harris attempted to pull off, at and during the game, proved to be, at best, irrelevant. Trump is simply too popular in those parts for anything like that to work.
