Haley sticks up for husband after Trump attacks his absence

Former President Donald Trump has launched an attack against GOP candidate Nikki Haley in a way that some never saw coming.

Trump called out Haley’s husband during a recent speech questioning his absence from campaign events.

“Where’s her husband? Oh, he’s away. He’s away. What happened to her husband? What happened to her husband? Where is he? He’s gone,” Trump said at a rally in South Carolina.

Haley took to X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, to fire back at Trump over the accusations.

“Michael is deployed serving our country, something you know nothing about. Someone who continually disrespects the sacrifices of military families has no business being commander in chief,” Haley wrote in her recent post.

Yikes.

Trump usually holds himself to a higher standard than this!

Haley’s husband is off fighting for our country.

Trump really should fact check before making such serious accusations.

If he blindly makes claims without making sure he understands what is really going on, is he any better than President Joe Biden?

It also is not the first time Haley has had to defend her marriage.

The Daily Mail recently published old claims of two affairs the GOP candidate supposedly had back in 2008, more than 15 years ago.

The two men who say they had sexual relationships with Haley both signed affidavits containing shocking details of what the men say happened between themselves and the GOP candidate.

However, Haley has always claimed she has been “100% faithful” to her husband, Michael.

After the article was published, Daily Mail was BANNED from all of Haley’s future campaign events.

The outlet even attempted to attend a subsequent Haley event and was approached by her spokeswoman, Chaney Denton, who told them, “Daily Mail is not credentialed for any more events. I'm politely asking you to leave.”

Haley may have expected something like this from a media outlet, but Trump should have known better.

Trump is good enough at what he does to keep it about the politics and leave Haley’s family out of it.

Let’s hope he learned his lesson and will check his facts the next time.
