Haley Mocks Trump for Indiana Ballot Post
It looks like Donald Trump needs to get better information from his sources about Nikki Haley’s campaign.
On Wednesday, Trump sent out a post on Truth Social that stated, “Nikki Haley is not on the Ballot in Indiana because she didn’t get enough Petition Signatures—She missed the deadline! If she’s not on in Indiana, she’s not a serious Candidate. ‘You can’t miss Indiana, and say you’re running for President,’ said future Senator of Indiana, Jim Banks.”
Haley quickly responded, as did her campaign, to rectify the story.
Got It Wrong
I have to hand it to Haley’s response team because they were pretty quick on the draw on this one.
Not long after Trump sent that post out, Haley responded on X…
Looks like Donald Trump is confused again... Another reason why he's too afraid to debate me. https://t.co/Ea2oDnmLlG

When Haley’s campaign was contacted to explain because, in fact, she is not technically on the ballot right now, they cleared it all up.
The campaign stated, “We turned in more than double all the signatures required and they are being verified now as part of the process before the filing deadline on February 9.”
As noted in the response, the deadline is still a week away, but Haley has reportedly turned in all of her paperwork and is just awaiting approval to be on the ballot.
The primary race in Indiana is not until May 7, so, realistically, it will not matter much by then anyway, as I suspect this primary race will be over if not after South Carolina, then after Super Tuesday.
Haley has put up a decent fight thus far, and she says she is going to hang around for the long haul, stating, “Do we really want to go into an election with two fellas that are going to be president in their eighties?”
If you looked at polling before the election, the majority of Americans agreed with her, looking for alternatives on both sides of the aisle.
However, when it came time to pull the handle, at least so far, the people have overwhelmingly chosen both Trump and Biden as the candidates.
So, we are destined for Trump v. Biden 2.0.
