GOP Rep. Calls on Harris to Activate 25th Amendment Against Biden
Well, we have a rather interesting report coming out of the state of Colorado.
Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO) has been very vocal about not supporting the Biden impeachment being considered in the House.
He does, however, believe that Kamala Harris needs to use the 25th Amendment to have Biden removed from office.
Change of Heart
I have to be honest here and say that I understand why Buck is against the impeachment of Joe Biden.
First and foremost, it will never be successful with Democrats in charge of the Senate, as all of these investigations going on regarding the impeachment are more or less just noise for people to get headlines.
Secondly, there is even the question if Joe Biden can be impeached for acts he did as the vice president.
I have yet to see a constitutional expert say that can actually happen, which is even more reason to go down a different path.
As I have stated before, I would have no problem if these investigations were being done for a criminal referral, but even that would have to wait until Republicans had the White House and we had a conservative AG in place.
Moving forward, Buck, while not supporting the impeachment, is very much behind removing Biden from office via the 25th Amendment.
The report from Special Counsel Robert Hur that more or less declared Biden mentally unfit to stand trial was all he needed to see.
Buck stated, “The Hur report officially addressed what many Americans have long witnessed with their own eyes — that President Biden is no longer fit to successfully discharge the critical duties of his office.
“Numerous instances were articulated in the report, and have played out in full public view, showing President Biden’s apparent cognitive decline and lack of mental stamina.”
He continued, “The societal challenges and security threats our country faces are innumerable and require a chief executive with both strong mental and physical faculties.
“The time has come for the vice president and the Cabinet to put our country first and move forward on invoking the 25th Amendment.”
Buck is not going to get an argument from me on this matter, as Biden has proven he is simply not all there mentally right now.
The fact Democrats keep running him out there and defending him, acting as though there is no issue is astonishing to me.
This man has nuclear codes and is representing this country on the world stage and rest assured, they are all laughing at us and this pale puppet that continues to walk around aimlessly and stumble through speeches when he is in public.
