Losing Ground
Cortez Masto has been losing major ground within Hispanic voters.
Her lead in this demographic has shrunk from 18 points as recently as August to a mere seven points in the latest Suffolk University poll.
The economy is huge for Latino voters right now, and Democrats have little to offer on this front.
It has to be sending a shockwave through Cortez Masto’s camp, as she made history as the first Latina elected to the Senate.
Democrats more than likely thought this seat was not even up for debate, but Laxalt has a very real chance to steal this seat and bring the GOP one step closer to taking control of the Senate.
