Georgia GOP Finding Other Ways to Target Fani Willis for Trump
Fulton County DA Fani Willis has grossly underestimated just how far Trump loyalists in the GOP will go to protect their candidate.
Reports have surfaced over the last few days that the Georgia GOPers are now looking to come after Willis differently.
The conditions at Fulton County jail are horrific, having made headlines on numerous occasions, and that is the thread they are going to start to pull.
Not Fit for Animals
I remember seeing the Fulton County Jail on "60 Days In." There were numerous episodes that highlighted some of the very questionable conditions and events that were taking place in that prison.
In many cases, the inmates are truly running the prison. If you have never seen the show, I highly recommend you go down the YouTube rabbit hole to check it out.
The show actually did two seasons there because what the undercover inmates found was so horrific, they wanted to send more people in to see if the improvements had taken hold, and the second season was pretty much as bad as the first (do a search on YouTube for '60 Days In Season 3' and '60 Days In Season 4').
Considering a former president and top members of his administration could possibly be residing there, a group of GOP senators recently toured the facility.
There was also a report in the Atlanta-Journal Constitution calling out Willis on this front.
They quoted state Senator Jason Anavitarte, who stated, "The DA is required by Georgia law to have a grand jury inspect the sanitary condition of the jail and the treatment of inmates, and it isn't clear she's carried out that duty.
"She did find time and resources to pursue politically chosen cases when the jail has been deteriorating, resulting in deaths."
The probe and trial of Trump and his codefendants will cost Fulton County millions, money that surely would have helped the condition of a prison that is not fit for animals.
