Gavin Newsom Says the Quiet Part Out Loud
I don’t know a single person on the right who believes the Democrats were right in removing Joe Biden in the manner in which it happened.
Never before in the entire history of presidential elections has an elected primary candidate been removed because he was behind in polling.
I believe the Dems had a plan… schedule the debate early, see how Joe is polling, and if he is behind, pull him before the convention.
The Plan
Call me crazy, but I believe that Gavin Newsom just confirmed every bit of that plan during a recent podcast interview.
He casually joked about it, but that is one of the tactics that Democrats use these days.
When they do something that goes against the rules, they either say Trump has done it or they joke about it trying to brush off the allegations.
To that point, when Newsom was being interviewed on the Pod Save America podcast, he responded to the switch, stating, “The switch? You know, we went through a very open process, a very inclusive process. It was bottom-up. I don’t know if you know that.
“Yes, that’s what I’ve been told to say.”
To make this even worse, the hosts of the show, Jon Favreau, Dan Pfeiffer, and Tommy Vietor, all went along like this was some big joke when they should have been questioning the constitutionality of the move.
If you ask me, the RNC should have challenged this nomination as soon as it was announced.
The Democrats literally rewrote our election rules, dismissing a duly elected candidate and allowing the party to hand-select a candidate to face Trump.
Even if they did not win the case, it would have forced the Democrats to explain how erasing millions of votes is okay.
They cannot justify it other than making this out as something that was “good for the country” and portraying Joe Biden as a selfless hero.
That, my friends, is gaslighting, and Dems have to be walking on eggshells right now in fear of legal action being taken.
This is, by far, the most undemocratic thing I have ever seen a party try to pull off in an election.
