Gaetz Rips Mayorkas, Says Illegals Getting 'Disney Fast Pass' into America

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) blasted Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, accusing him of allowing illegal immigrants to receive a "Disney fast pass" into the U.S.

Gaetz made the condemning remarks during a House Judiciary Committee hearing on Wednesday, criticizing the department's CBP One app.

“You’ve taken this app and you’ve digitized illegal immigration and you’ve scaled it to the moon,” Gaetz said.

“The app doesn’t do any search of their criminal history in their home country, does it?” Gaetz asked, to which Mayorkas responded, “Congressman, I disagree with everything you’ve said.”

“Two million people encountered and released…how many of those people have you deported?” Gaetz asked Mayorkas.

“The Mayorkas Doctrine is this: if you show up at the border and get released into the country, if you don't commit a specific aggravated felony…you get to stay forever,” Gaetz continued.

The tense exchange served as part of a larger attack on Mayorkas and his leadership on border security. Many Republican lawmakers are calling for his impeachment over the border crisis.

The number of migrants crossing the southern border has reached record numbers under the Biden administration with no major plans to change the situation in progress.

Instead, the shift to a mobile app has changed how migrants entering the nation are counted, allowing official border apprehension numbers to appear lower. More than 5 million people have crossed the southern border under the Biden administration, including an unknown number of gotaways.

The border activity also includes increases in human trafficking and drug smuggling as the area is overwhelmed with activity under the Biden administration's inaction to protect the American people by securing the border.
