Oh, John Kerry, your emails are almost as good as Hunter Biden's.
A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request by Protect the Public's Trust (PPT) has provided more fruit from the vine.
The latest batch is about getting the mainstream media to pump out "educational" stories on climate change.
The American people and people around the globe are being indoctrinated and they do not even realize it.
John Kerry's office, the Special Presidential Envoy for Climate (SPEC), has been pushing climate change articles.
Email exchange between State Department officials show a significant interest in paying journalists to publish stories regarding climate change.
Kerry's Office of Global Change (EGC) called it a "fantastic" and "great" idea.
A State Department official wrote, "Jean Foschetti at the FPC mentioned this to me about a week ago.
"Sounds like a great reporting tour idea; basically, the FPC will sponsor multiple foreign reporters to have experiences that educate them on reporting on climate change. Can EGC and SPEC take a look and clear?"
A second official (their names have been redacted) responded, "Thanks for sharing … I think this sounds like a fantastic FPC (virtual) reporting tour and I'm looking forward to the stories that will come out of this."
The program took place during a two-week stretch in May 2021.
The State Department did announce the program, albeit very quietly, but it also failed to mention that our tax dollars would be used to finance it.
Michael Chamberlain, director of the PPT, stated, "The American public may be shocked but, unfortunately, not surprised to learn their taxpayer funds are being used to promote climate alarmism around the world.
"The State Department should come clean about which foreign publications, articles, and authors they are forcing American taxpayers to fund.
"However, one thing Protect the Public's Trust has learned from this FOIA request is that transparency is not one of State's strengths.
"The more that is revealed the more it becomes clear why the American public's trust in its government continues its rapid collapse."
In case you were wondering, John Kerry has an annual budget of about $14 million to push this rhetoric.
That is one department that will go right into the shredder once we get a Republican back in the White House.
