'Friends' Star Matthew Perry Left Behind Eerie Final Words on Instagram

"Friends" star Matthew Perry died at the age of 54, authorities confirmed.

Perry passed away Saturday in an apparent hot tub accident in which he drowned while in Los Angeles.

"Law enforcement sources said the actor was found dead in a hot tub at a house in the Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles on Saturday. The authorities stated he appeared to have died due to drowning," Fox News reported.

"According to TMZ, emergency personnel first responded to a call reporting cardiac arrest at the house. No drugs were found on the scene and no foul play is suspected, per the outlet," it added.

"Oh, so warm water swirling around makes you feel good? I'm Mattman," Perry wrote in his final Instagram post.

The post was actually a few days before his death, revealing a strange end to the actor's career that seems to have predicted his death.

"Perry’s 10 seasons on 'Friends' made him one of Hollywood’s most recognizable actors, starring opposite Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow, and David Schwimmer as a friend group in New York," the Associated Press reported.

"As Chandler, he played the quick-witted, insecure, and neurotic roommate of LeBlanc’s Joey and a close friend of Schwimmer’s Ross," it continued.

The tragic end to Perry's life marks the first of the main cast members to pass away not long after the group gathered for a reunion event to mark the longtime success of the show.

Perry's many fans now seek to deal with his loss as the news of his passing becomes known, with the actor being known as one of the past generation's best-known personalities.
