Fox News Panel Shreds Justice Kavanaugh Accuser Christine Blasey Ford Memoir

During the Senate hearings to confirm Brett Kavanaugh as a Supreme Court justice, Christine Blasey Ford came forward claiming that Kavanaugh had sexually assaulted her.

Kavanaugh, who was nominated by Trump, was adamant that this story was bogus, actually losing his temper a bit during the hearings professing his innocence.

Well, Ford is back, having just published a memoir to cash in on her 15 minutes.

False Allegations

When push came to shove, there was no evidence to prove Ford’s claims, and she eventually disappeared from the public eye.

That was until now because she has written a memoir to cash in on the election cycle.

Former Senate Judiciary Committee spokesman Garrett Ventry slammed her book, citing that this just seemed typical of Democrats to smear a justice when that justice was nominated by a Republican.

Ventry stated, “Well, we saw this with Justice Thomas [and] we’ve seen this with now Justice Kavanaugh as well.

“It’s the playbook of the left to throw last-minute allegations to try to derail a Supreme Court nominee. We’ve seen this over and over again from the left here.

“I think if you take a step back, her claims in this book are about as accurate as like a grown man believing in the tooth fairy, they’re just not there. It’s ridiculous to believe in them.

“We saw this, I worked on Justice Kavanaugh’s confirmation. It was very thorough. We literally had two hearings – that rarely ever happens.”

Ventry then added, “Judge Kavanaugh, at the time, had been through three FBI background checks. None of these things ever alleged. And as Carrie rightfully pointed out here, her main best friend and supposed cooperator Leland Keyser said she had no knowledge of this.

“The two other witnesses outside of Justice Kavanaugh – PJ Smyth, Mark Judge – also said this never happened. She couldn’t remember where it happened. She couldn’t remember how she got there, how she left, and no one can corroborate it. It’s flimsy and it’s false.”

Ford’s claim came to light after Kavanaugh had been nominated, writing a letter to the late Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) with her claims of sexual assault.

Her claim went back to Kavanaugh’s high school days in the 1980s, but the story could not be corroborated.

Ford is now doing the media circuit to promote her book, seeking attention, when she says all that attention before resulted in threats made against her.

She seems to have put those fears aside, however, to release the book and cash in on a big payday.
