The announcement also comes as Carlson was revealed as the host of the first 2024 GOP presidential forum presented by the Blaze.
Candidates included in the events are scheduled to include Ron DeSantis, Nikki Haley, Vivek Ramaswamy, Tim Scott, and Mike Pence.
Former President Donald Trump is notably not on the lineup. The event will air on July 14 on BlazeTV and its YouTube channel.
In addition to Carlson's departure, Fox News also reportedly released his former producers.
Fox News host Dan Bongino also parted ways with the network days before Tucker, with both moves coming just after the network settled out of court with Dominion Voting Systems over a lawsuit related to 2020 election claims.
The new change should be great for Gallagher but it's unclear how Fox News will land long-term as it shifts following the departure of Carlson.
