One former White House counsel said he believes that former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani will be "destroyed" by the recent Georgia indictment against Trump and 18 co-defendants.
John Dean, who served former President Richard Nixon, shared the comments on CNN's "The Source."
“I think he’s [Rudy Giuliani] in deep trouble. The government’s case looks like it’s overwhelming. His federal issues have not been resolved,” former White House counsel John Dean said. https://t.co/rCJluYycQN

“I think Rudy is going to get destroyed by this. It’s sad but true,” Dean said Wednesday.
"I think he’s in deep trouble. The government’s case looks like it’s overwhelming. His federal issues have not been resolved. Trump could not pardon him in Georgia if, indeed, he is convicted in Georgia,” he added.

"This indictment is an affront to American Democracy and does permanent, irrevocable harm to our justice system," Giuliani said in response to the indictment.
"It's just the next chapter in a book of lies with the purpose of framing President Donald Trump and anyone willing to take on the ruling regime," he added.
Trump's legal team has already requested that the case be moved to federal court to take the trial out of Fulton County.
Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has instead suggested a court date just eight days ahead of Georgia's primary.
The move adds to the political nature of the situation, adding to other Trump indictments in Washington and Florida.
The claims in the Georgia case target both Trump and many of his former and current allies, creating a new level of controversy in the attacks against the former president.
