Former Trump Lawyer Reveals Truth About 'Deranged' Jack Smith

It looks as though Donald Trump's preference for giving enemies nicknames has spread to the rest of his team, because a pretty good one has emerged to apparently become the permanent new nickname of the clown federally prosecuting the former president.

"Deranged" Jack Smith.

Trump obviously does NOT like Smith, calling him a "Trump-hating prosecutor" and even bringing Jack Smith's marriage into the conversation. "Jack Smith's wife and family despise me much more than he does," Trump said.

He's also been implying that Smith is a bully for intimidating him via prosecution.

"There’s always intimidation of everybody at the highest level," Trump said of Smith's investigation. "But I really don’t care. I don’t care. I just want to do what’s right for the country."

The strategy of calling Smith names to discredit him and then quickly moving on seems to be a plan adopted by many of Trump's staff as well.

At the very least, they aren't trying to convince Trump to stop telling it like he sees it when it comes to Smith.

Former attorney Jim Trusty recently spoke on CNN about why Trump and his team are perfectly within their rights to be criticizing and questioning the actions of Smith and other adversaries.

He also said that the liberal media needs to get off Trump's case for calling Smith "deranged." If Smith is acting how he is, then Trump has the right to be acting how he is.

"I don’t think America is waiting with bated breath to hear whether Jim will call Jack ‘deranged.’ It doesn’t matter. It’s not part of my interest as an attorney. It’s not really part of the public’s interest. It’s just kind of fun, sensational stuff," Trusty said. "The bottom line is any client would have a right to be frustrated with the behavior that he has been facing on behalf of the department, Alvin Bragg, Letitia James, and the wonderful Georgia case as well."

"So, look, I don’t have to sign off, or sign on, on anything that the president says. But I can tell you that the grounds for frustration, the concerns about a two-tiered system, are legitimate ones," Trusty concluded.

It's fair to say that's Trump's concerns about prosecutors are more than fair.

If they weren't, most of America wouldn't be supporting him right now.
