Former Trump Attorney Facing Disbarment After Judge’s Ruling

We are seeing yet another former Trump associate face the consequences of having played a part in the effort to fight the posted election 2020 election results.

Former Trump attorney John Eastman is now facing disbarment for the role he played in Trump’s quest to fight the 2020 election outcome.

On Wednesday, a California judge ruled that Eastman was guilty on 10 of the 11 counts brought against him, and recommended disbarment for the former Trump attorney.

Disbarment

State Bar Judge Yvette Roland found Eastman culpable in 10 of the 11 counts that had been filed against him.

Eastman was one of the legal architects in Trump’s quest to overturn the 2020 election, so the state bar wants to strip him of his license for his “false and misleading” statements about the election.

In part, Roland’s 128-page decision stated, “This lack of remorse and accountability presents a significant risk that Eastman may engage in further unethical conduct, compounding the threat to the public.”

The ruling continued, “In view of the circumstances surrounding Eastman’s misconduct and balancing the aggravation and mitigation, the court recommends that Eastman be disbarred.”

Eastman has already announced that he will appeal the decision, and his attorneys added, “Dr. Eastman maintains that his handling of the legal issues he was asked to assess after the November 2020 election was based on reliable legal precedent, prior presidential elections, research of constitutional text, and extensive scholarly material.

“The process undertaken by Dr. Eastman in 2020 is the same process taken by lawyers every day and everywhere – indeed, that is the essence of what lawyers do.”

If Eastman loses his appeal, he will join a growing list of Trump associates who have either lost their jobs and their money and/or wound up in jail for trying to help Trump in 2020.

That list includes attorney Jenna Ellis, Scott Hall, attorney Sidney Powell, and Kenneth Chesebro.

Also on that list is Rudy Giuliani, the former mayor of New York, who is not only facing legal issues, but after once having an estimated net worth of $50 million, he is also filing for bankruptcy.

That story is nothing, however, compared to the saga of My Pillow founder Mike Lindell, whose fortune was estimated to be more than $200 million. He is also going into bankruptcy for spending his personal fortune to try to prove Trump right about the election.
