Former Obama Advisor Says It Feels Like We're Approaching 'Tipping Point'

Former Obama national security adviser Ben Rhodes just went PUBLIC.

Rhodes sat down for an interview with MSNBC where he let his thoughts on the Israel-Hamas war fly.

According to Rhodes, the war is “approaching some kind of tipping point.”

Rhodes went on to elaborate on his thought process behind that theory.

“This is the most right-wing government in Israel’s history. This is a prime minister, Bibi Netanyahu, who has really not listened to successive American presidents. And this is a military operation that has caused a humanitarian catastrophe that clearly hasn’t factored in the ability to get assistance to desperate people who are now facing famine-like conditions, that doesn’t have a plan for how it comes to a conclusion,” Rhodes said.

Rhodes did not stop there.

He also went on to discuss the seven World Central Kitchen workers who died in a recent airstrike launched by Israel.

“And so, when you have an event like this, such a glaring, tragic event, it kind of encapsulates a lot of the concerns. Why could there be a military strike against clearly marked civilian aid vehicles that are deconflicted with the [Israel Defense Forces]? Why are they doing that in the first place when you could simply drive eight trucks across these crossings if Israel would open them up,” Rhodes continued.

No matter how you feel about Rhodes’ political views, you have to agree that it does seem like we are close to reaching a “tipping point” in this war.

Regardless of what comes next, one thing is clear -- the pressure is on for President Joe Biden to make the right next move regarding his stance on the war, something at which he has consistently failed in the past.
