Former Obama Adviser Very Worried About Biden’s Age for Electability

Joe Biden has a big problem on his hands when Obama’s people are sounding the alarm regarding Joe Biden’s chances of winning the upcoming election.

The average person may not know who David Axelrod is, but among politicos, this man might as well be speaking out of Obama’s mouth.

That is what makes his comments about Biden’s age so damaging.

Can’t Avoid It

For the last few weeks, Obama has ticked up his activity to try to help Joe Biden win this upcoming election.

He has more or less been forced into action after Israel was attacked by Hamas to try to damage control for Biden.

David Axelrod, a very influential Obama adviser, recently discussed Biden’s polling numbers, specifically about his age.

Now, this is something that Democrats, including Obama, have avoided, but Axelrod decided to dive right in.

He stated, "I have no concerns about polls a year out. I mean, you have to look at them and analyze them and adjust. But I was in a situation as a strategist for Barack Obama in 2011 where we were facing some difficult polls.”

This was clearly in reference to Biden trailing in five of six key states he won in 2020.

Then he dropped the bombshell…

“The one number in the polling that was concerning, and in the CNN poll that followed after The New York Times poll, had to do with age, and that is one thing you can’t reverse no matter how effective Joe Biden is behind the scenes. In front of the camera, what he’s projecting is causing people concerns, and that is worrisome.”

Biden has not helped himself on this front by calling early lids, disappearing every weekend, and what seems like an endless string of mental and physical gaffes.

Nearly three-quarters of those polled think Biden is too old to serve again, and Trump’s numbers are not exactly comforting. The last numbers I saw had Trump at 48% on this front, but that is still considerably better than Biden.

Even so, Biden is set on running again, and my guess is that is because he is terrified of where these investigations will go if he is not in office and he does not have a Democrat Attorney General to protect him.
