Former Democrat Tulsi Gabbard Endorses Trump for President
Former House Democrat Tulsi Gabbard now appears to be all-in on Donald Trump.
Gabbard, a former Representative for Hawaii, left the Democrat Party after running for president in 2020.
That was not before dealing a critical blow to Harris that knocked her out of the primary race, and now she is joining forces with Trump.

Gabbard continues to serve in the United States Army Reserve, now a Lieutenant Colonel.
She is passionate about veterans issues and about keeping the United States out of new wars, something that falls right in line with Trump’s agenda.
For that reason, she is throwing her support behind Trump.
In announcing her endorsement of Trump, Gabbard stated, “I mean what I say when I share with you that I know that President Trump understands the grave responsibility that a President and Commander-in-Chief bears for every single one of our lives.
“Whether you’re a soldier, you’re an Airman, a Marine, sailor, or a Coastie, he keeps us in his heart in the decisions that he makes. We saw this through his first term in the presidency, when he not only didn’t start any new wars, he took action to de-escalate and prevent wars.”
She continued, “He exercised the courage that we expect from our Commander-in-Chief in exhausting all measures of diplomacy, having the courage to meet with adversaries, dictators, allies, and partners alike in the pursuit of peace, seeing war as a last resort.
“The truth is as we head towards our decision as a country in November, the same can not be said about Kamala Harris. In fact, the opposite is true, and we’re living through this reality today as this administration has us facing multiple wars on multiple fronts in regions around the world, and closer to the brink of nuclear war than we ever have been before.
“This is one of the main reasons why I am committed to doing all that I can to send President Trump back to the White House where he can once again serve us as our Commander-in-Chief.”
Gabbard has also reportedly been helping Donald Trump prepare for his upcoming debate with Kamala Harris.
As noted above, Gabbard was fierce during the debates, one of the few candidates that took aim at Kamala Harris during the 2020 Democrat presidential primary race.
Gabbard exposed Harris for her prosecutorial work, a shot that along with Harris insinuating that Biden was a racist, ended Harris’ campaign.
I have always liked Gabbard, but I like her as a Democrat or Independent who can help Republicans pass legislation.
Having said that, I would have zero problem with Gabbard being a member of Trump’s cabinet to help him navigate congressional waters, but I don’t think I could ever back her as a Republican candidate unless she had a major change in some of her policies.
Make no mistake about it… while Gabbard does have some more conservative stances, she also has some very hardcore liberal stances.
She is what we would call a true moderate, and that is not a bad thing. My point, however, is that while conservatives are in love with her crossing Dems now, if she ever ran as a Republican, she would wind up being called a traitor to the party in this political environment.
She is too valuable an ally of Republicans right now to have that happen to her, so let her continue to do what she has been doing to hurt Democrats.
