Former Clinton Pollster Says He Cannot Vote for Harris
There are Democrats who believe Harris is lying about her platform, simply saying what she has to in order to get elected, but she is also scaring some Dems away due to these new positions.
One such Democrat is a former Clinton pollster.
Doug Schoen is refusing to lock into Harris, citing her position changes and the antisemitism that is running rampant in the Democrat Party right now.
Can’t Do It
Harris has been all over the place in this election.
She has reversed many policies she has stood behind since 2019, as well as stealing some Trump agenda issues when needed to try to steal some votes away from the former president.
Schoen was recently on Fox News with Harris Faulkner, who asked, “I remember when you make your political turn it was on a show I anchored on a prime-time weekend called ‘The Fox Report.’
“And you determined on that show on one night, on one Sunday night you would no longer vote for your friend and former wife of your employer Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton. You couldn’t vote for her. Will you vote for Kamala?”
Schoen responded, “At this point, I cannot. I would call myself undecided at this point.
“But I can’t vote for her for reasons related to her change in position and also the Middle East as we have talked about before. I do not believe she is sufficiently committed to Israel and fighting antisemitism.”
In the national average of polls, Haris is currently leading Trump by 2.7%, but Trump was making up ground before the debate.
Trump had a less than stellar performance at the debate, allowing Harris to get under his skin and moving away from policy to personal attacks, which is what the Harris plan was all along.
Trump knew her plan, and he knew the moderators would be against him, but he still failed to stick to the plan, handing Harris a significant win in the eyes of the American people.
Trump needs to make a big splash, and he needs to do it soon, or he is going to be on a sinking ship.
Honestly, I cannot remember a political race that was so back and forth as this one.
Time is running out, though, so Trump simply cannot afford another misstep.
